Mission Statement

The Centre for Fish and Fisheries Research undertakes high quality research on the biology of fish and invertebrate populations and on the relationships between the species compositions of faunal communities and their habitats. We are therefore able to advise resource managers and the scientific and general community on those biological aspects of fish and invertebrate species and their habitats that are required for developing integrated management plans to ensure the sustainability of key species and their environments.
