The 4 day workshop is available by invitation only and is preceded by a review of submitted invited papers; the proposed essential papers/analyses are:

   a) Review on the nature and diversity of responses to whalewatching interactions

   b) Inter-specific meta-analyses of short-term impact effect size

   c) Intra-specific meta-analyses of short term impact effect size (humpback whale and bottlenose dolphin)

   d) Reveiw of mechanisms known to lead to long-term impacts

   e) Review of life history strategies for key species

   f) Presentations of potential field sites by field site directors

   g) Identification of modelling needs to link short-term responses to long-term consequences
